Joybound People & Pets Free Pet Vaccine and Microchip Clinic

Contra Costa County pet guardians can access free vaccines and microchips for dogs and cats at a community clinic on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 325 Civic Center Plaza in Richmond.
The clinic starts at 9 a.m., though attendees are encouraged to arrive early. Services are first come, first served, and space is limited.
Available services include rabies and DAPP vaccines for dogs, rabies and FVRCP vaccines for cats, plus microchips for both dogs and cats. Free pet food will also be available while supplies last.
Pet guardians must be Contra Costa County residents, provide proof of residency, and be 18 or older. Pets must be at least 6 weeks old. Dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in secure carriers.
The clinic is funded through Measure X and held in partnership with Contra Costa Animal Services and the City of Richmond. More information is available at joybound.org/community.
