Join the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley (Kiwanis SRV) for the 16th annual Nourishing Neighbors Food Drive, a collaborative effort with NBC Bay Area, Safeway, and the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano to combat hunger and food insecurity in our community.

On this one-day food drive, thousands of volunteers will be stationed outside Safeway stores throughout the Bay Area, encouraging shoppers to donate at checkout. Kiwanis SRV is leading a team of over 30 volunteers from local organizations, including high school Key Club, National Charity League, Scouting America, and other community groups.

Volunteers will be at the following Safeway stores from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM:

Alamo
200 Alamo Plaza

Blackhawk
3496 Camino Tassajara

San Ramon (2 locations)
2505 San Ramon Valley Boulevard
11050 Bollinger Canyon Road

Donating is simple: ask your cashier to scan the donation bar code before your groceries are rung up. A $10 donation to the Nourishing Neighbors campaign will be added to your receipt. Safeway will convert all donations into Safeway gift cards and deliver them to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.
