CELEBRATE LIFE AND HONOR LOVE!

The Martinez Arts Association invites YOU to an INCREDIBLE Día de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, November 1st from noon to 4pm at Plaza Ignacio Park, located at 550 Henrietta Street in Martinez.

This FREE family fiesta promises an AMAZING afternoon filled with stunning community altars honoring beloved souls, electrifying live music that will move your spirit, and mesmerizing Aztec dancers in traditional regalia.

Día de los Muertos transforms grief into GLORIOUS celebration! This vibrant Mexican tradition welcomes spirits home with colorful altars, fragrant marigolds, flickering candles, and treasured memories. It's pure magic watching life and death dance together in joyful harmony.

CREATE YOUR OWN ALTAR! The public is invited to participate by submitting an application by October 24th. Bring a cherished photo or meaningful object to our community altar and watch the magic unfold as we celebrate the lives of those we hold dear.

Don't miss the FREE Nicho Box Workshop at Martinez Library on Saturday, October 25 from 1-3pm. All materials provided, just bring your creativity and prepare to craft something beautiful!
