Free pet vaccines and microchips will be available for Contra Costa County residents at a clinic hosted by Joybound People & Pets on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The event starts at 8 AM at 300 L Street in Antioch, with services provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Early arrival is strongly encouraged to ensure your pet can be seen.

The clinic offers free Rabies and DHPP vaccines for dogs and Rabies and FVRCP vaccines for cats. Microchips for both dogs and cats will also be available, along with pet food while supplies last. To be eligible, pet guardians must be at least 18 years old, show proof of residency in Contra Costa County, and ensure their pets are at least six weeks old.

For the safety of all, dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a secure carrier. Please do not bring pets that are sick with symptoms like coughing, sneezing, or diarrhea. Pets will receive a brief health check before vaccination. Feral cats and community cats will not be served at this event.
