Joybound Around Town on Broadway: 25th Anniversary Celebration

This is Joybound's flagship annual pet festival celebrating 25 years. The family-friendly event brings together thousands of animal lovers to celebrate the human-pet bond while raising funds for pet rescue, adoption, veterinary care, and service dog programs.

Key Activities:

Paw-rade Walk (11:30 AM): One-mile fundraising walk with prizes for top fundraisers Best-Dressed Pet Contest (12:30 PM): Costume competition on the main stage Live Music: Highway One (11 AM) and The Dream Tellers (2 PM) Pet & People Look-A-Like Contests: Themed rounds at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 PM featuring Toto, Garfield, and Krypto Service Dog Demo (3 PM): Watch former shelter pets now trained as service dogs All-Day Pet Wellness Festival: Interactive booths, games, face painting, adoptable animals, and giveaways

Guests can form fundraising teams before the event to compete for prizes. The festival coincides with the nearby HEAD WEST Marketplace and Walnut Creek Farmers' Market for additional entertainment options.
