Creative Concord: Mural of Words

This year Creative Concord has partnered with CordonConcepts to bring you a Mural of Words!
An hour poetry showcase that celebrates and explores the art of spoken-word poetry through ekphrastic poetry, live interviews, and a line up of 9 poets.
3 poets will be creating and sharing original pieces based on their preferred mural found in Concord and 6 poets will be representing the Pittsburg Prodigies coming out of Pittsburg High School!
We will be having 2 shows on Sunday Oct 15th, 2023.
The first show will begin at 1pm and the second show will begin at 4pm.
Our featured poets CordonConcepts, Juni Speaks, and Moe Ministry will grace the stage during both shows and the Pittsburg Prodigies will rotate in cohorts of 3.
We look forward to seeing you at the Concord Historical Society as we celebrate and explore the art of spoken-word poetry.
