'Black Coddle' is the second album by Dublin, Ireland born and Bay Area based keyboardist/songwriter/singer Eamonn Flynn.

Mixed by John Porter (The Smiths, Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, B.B. King, Roxy Music, and Ryan Adams), it reflects a unique blend of Irish music and New Orleans/East Bay Soul and Funk.

It features contributions from a who's who of Irish and American musicians including the Black Family, Chris Cain, Jeff Tamelier, Todd Denman, Darryl Anders, Kevin Hayes, Tamar Gillette, Sanara Pippins, Jamie Brewer, Conor Brady, Joel Jaffe, Mike Rinta, Shelley Bukspan, Jorden Bukspan, Andrew MacNamara, Cormac Gannon, Blyss Gould and Ruth Davies.

Eamonn Flynn was born into a musical family in Dublin, Ireland. He first came to prominence playing Hammond organ and piano on the 12 million selling movie soundtrack 'The Commitments' about a soul band from Dublin.
Now living in San Francisco, he has gone on to record and tour worldwide with artists including Michael Franti and Spearhead, Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King, Elvin Bishop, Bernard Purdie, Grant Green Jr., Coco Montoya, Michelle Shocked, Pee Wee Ellis, Donald Harrison, Maria Muldaur, Tony Lindsay (Santana) and a 10 year stint with Meters drummer Zigaboo Modeliste.
