Jonathan Segel is a brilliant composer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, violin, mandolin, keyboards, electric bass, and more!).


His style can be described as not only eclectic and psychedelic, but also surreal and hypnotic. Jonathan sings and plays a variety of genres ranging from guitar-based rock music to way-avant-garde electronic music with many other places in between…including pop!

As a founding member of Camper Van Beethoven (CVB), Jonathan has shared a creative and musical history with the band that dates back to 1983.

He currently resides in Sweden and when he is not touring with CVB or working on a multitude of solo projects, he plays with the Oresund Space Collective and Sista Maj.
