A graduate of UC Berkeley and Berklee College of Music, Kurt has played with many prominent musicians. Among them are jazz/blues vocalist Faye Carol, new music composer Paul Dresher, Broadway singer Lillias Brooks, JC Hopkins (writer and former bandleader for Norah Jones), guitarist Adam Levy, sideman with Tracy Chapman and Norah Jones, and with Ralph Carney, best known for his work with Tom Waits. Kurt’s also played with prominent non-jazz musicians, including Danny Carnahan of Wake the Dead and Eric and Suzy Thompson.
Kurt has had his compositions played by a variety of groups, including Section 8 Project, Make A Circus and others.

Myles Boisen is a recording and mastering engineer, album producer, film and TV composer, journalist and musician.
In addition to musical performances with Tom Waits, John Zorn, the Rova Saxophone Quartet, Fred Frith, Eugene Chadbourne, Splatter Trio, and the Club Door Orchestra, Myles has contributed to a number of film soundtracks, plus director David Lynch’s films “Twin Peaks” and “Wild At Heart”.

Tom Griesser started clarinet lessons at age nine with Richard Joiner (1918-1998), then the principal clarinetist of the Denver Symphony Orchestra. At 13, he picked up the alto sax; at 14, the tenor sax. After studying political science at Stanford, he began a professional musical career in 1992.

Carrie Jahde has earned national awards and a great deal of notoriety over the past decade for her versatile, passionate, and unique approach to drumming. Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, she maintains a full-time touring, recording and teaching schedule, working with musical groups ranging in style from jazz to Latin to funk to R&B. Strongly committed to creative, improvised music, she also composes for and leads the electro-jazz project Planet Loop, which performs regularly throughout the West Coast.
